Markus (Mads Mikkelsen), a deployed military man, has to go home to his teenage daughter, Mathilde, when his wife dies in a tragic train accident. It seems to be plain bad luck, until mathematics geek Otto shows up at their door with his two eccentric colleagues: Lennart and Emmenthaler. Otto was also a passenger on the wrecked train and he is convinced it was not an accident. When they dive into the case, it becomes clear to Markus, it might have been a carefully orchestrated assassination, which his wife ended up being a random casualty of. The four men want justice and their revenge mission leads to results - although not the results they wish for. This modern action comedy by Danish director Anders Thomas Jensen (Adams Apples, Men & Chicken) is about solidarity, the randomness of the universe and the meaning of life. 16+
