Dragon Girl (1h 22min.)

In the small town of Kjedly, Norway, everyone is getting ready for Christmas. Except 11-year-old Sara, who moves like an invisible ninja. "Never be seen, never be taken and never get to know anyone," she tells herself as she hides from the police in empty houses, looking for food and warmth. Everything is turned upside down when a flaming dragon suddenly crashes into the house where she is going to celebrate Christmas... And when neighbouring boy Waldemar suddenly drops in to feed the goldfish, the two must work together to save the little dragon from dragon hunters, the police and TV reporters. 

This adventurous Norwegian children's film, a co-production with The Netherlands, recently won the award for Best Visual Effects in Norway because of the beautifully animated dragon. This was the work of Amsterdam-based visual effects studio Planet X.
